This was an entertaining conclusion to the series. I enjoyed the description of the society in which Claire and Jonas lived (especially since I last read The Giver over two decades ago). I didn’t like that the plot turned into a battle between good and evil. Perhaps there are subtleties I missed. Finally, the Trademaster makes me think of Randal Flagg and makes me want to read The Gunslinger.
